| The Association of Blind Citizens announces the establishment of its Vision Quest Fund. The purpose of this fund is to provide financial support for scientific research aimed at restoring sight to the blind. Ground-breaking new technologies such as artificial vision systems, retina chip implants, stem cell research, and other technologies are poised to minimize blindness in the future, and you can be a part of this revolution. ABC is accepting contributions to assist in funding these revolutionary new technologies that have the potential to restore some degree of vision to people who are blind. Your contributions will literally throw back the curtains and bring light where there was once only darkness.
