On May 8th, the St Lucy Society of Boston welcomed the Boston Renegades to their “women’s only” club to hear about beep baseball. The St Lucy Society of Boston has been meeting in the North End for decades. St Lucy is the patron saint of vision. Joe Quintanilla, Damon Graff, and Lindsay Yazzolino shared their story with the ladies. They shared why beep baseball is important to them, for Damon and Lindsay in particular, how it is helping them to try sports as a blind person for the first time. We thank the St Lucy Society of Boston for their generous support of the Renegade program and its rookies. Their hospitality was beyond gracious. Who knows, if the ladies of St Lucy Society have their way, you might see the Renegades play a game in the North End!
